Surroundings

Štrbské Pleso is the highest mountain resort for winter sports and tourism in Slovakia. It also belongs to the tatranian climatic spa centres. The most important natural healing factor is an alpine climate with its therapeutical effects determined by geographical location, altitude and protection from western and northern wind currents.
