This unique virtual gallery project – POLIANKOVO was co-designed by the world-famous traveller and filmmaker Pavol Barabáš. The authors of the exhibition – Marián Bizub and Marián Aštáry comment on how the gallery works : “The real footage from the expeditions of Pavel Barabáš was used to create digital simulations, virtual reality and 3D projections. If you wonder how it feels to be floating on a wild river, be sure that nowhere else in Europe you will have so much fun rafting on a dry land.” The author of the idea behind the project – a Slovak documentarist and traveller Pavol Barabáš said of the project: “When people leave this gallery, it would be cool if this experience made them behave better towards our planet.”
